| THE MILK PICNIC - 27 May 2007 |
The WORLD MILK DAY, celebrated every year, was celebrated with the Milk Picnic in Ankara on May 27, under the auspices of SETBIR and the Ministry of Agriculture and Vilage Affairs.
The picnic, supported by Yörsan, a member of SETBIR hosted many Ministry officials, NGO representatives and elementary school children. The event was held in Toprak-Gübre and Su Kaynakları Institute, has seen messages to encourage the consumption of milk and handling milk in a healthily manner.

| World Milk and Meat Summit Held in Istanbul |

Held jointly by SETBİR and Ministry of Agriculture, the World Milk and Meat Summit has taken place in Istanbul Cevahir Hotel where it hosted figures like Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Village Affairs, Chairman of SETBIR and the Ministries of Agriculture of Poland and Bulgaria, as well as Deputy Ministers from China, Romania and Iran, and senior executives from the Ministries of New Zealand, Brazil and Germany. In his keynote speech Mehdi Eker said that Turkey needed to take the opportunities efficiently: “… we have to set our preferences and priorities in such a way that we will leave a world to next generations that we would want for ourselves. This conference will show the global opinion of the world’s husbandry industry and will make great contributions to integration of husbandry industries.”

| Ankara University Brought Together the Students and the Food Industry representatives |
The Food Engineering Department of the Ankara University, hosted a panel on March 2 where top executives from food industry, senior officials from public organizations, lecturers and graduates, came together.
Prof. Dr. Aziz Ekşi, chaired the meeting and said that the panel is intended to brief the industry about the accreditation works as well as to discuss and evaluate the mission, vision and training objectives with the stakeholders.
Kübra Koç, the Communication and Public Relations Director of Yörsan, said that YÖRSAN would continue to contribute to the training objectives as it has had and said that their past efforts were a statement to their future contributions.
As Yörsan, we hope and wish that the university will accomplish this task easily.

| Visit of Çanakkale and Yörsan Factory by PMYD... |

A delegate of 40 people including the chairman Ali Rıza Dölkeleş and members of PMYD –The Foundation of Professional Kitchen Directors- made an important visit.
After a visit to the Çanakkale Cemetry, as a tribute to its significance in Turkish history, the crowded delegate then was welcomed by the Chairman of Yörsan Board, İzettin Yörük and other senior officials at the Susurluk factory.
The delegate which visited the Yörsan facilities, where the Turkey’s most modern milk processing techniques are used, got the opportunity to see the production stages of many products they use in their kitchens.
