Ankara Food and Food Technologies Exhibition

The 5th International Food and Food Technologies exhibition, singled out by beingthe only food fair held inankara and each year and by crowds of visitors, was held from 2nd to 5th December, at Altınpark fair area. Ankara Metropolitan City Municipality Mayor Melih Gökçek, Presidentt of the Chamber of Commerce of Ankara Sinan Aygün, and PERDER Chairman Şeref Songör and Ankara PERDER President Mustafa Altunbilek took part in the opening of the food fair, held with the support of the Turkish retail sellers Federation (PERDER). The Susurluk toast, made at the standards of Yorsan and served with Yrosan ayran,attracted many visitors to our stand, and we hosted both the participant firms and the visitors.

Participations in Exhibitions

“Balıkesir Agriculture, Industry, Tourism Days”, held with the slogan “The City Feeding Turkey”, within the scope of the Promotion Days, has opened its doors to its visitors with a ceremony on 07 October 2010. The opening of Balıkesir Agriculture Industry and Tourism Days wa attended by Governor Yılmaz Arslan, Mayor Ismail Ok, Ziraat Bank Ass. Genral Director Hüsamettin Gülhan, Industrail Chamber’s Board Chairman A. Rona Yırcalı, Chamber of Industry Chairman Ahmet Kula, Industrail Chamber’s Board Chairman Erhan Ortaköylü, Chamber of Commerce Chairman Mahmut Yavuz, City General Assembly Chairman Mehmet Akif Okur, City Private Administration Secretary General Günay Özdemir and Vice Governors, Office Directors, Governors and Mayors and an intensive participation of citizens. The Governor Yılmaz Arslan and other speakers expressed their wishes this activity to be a fore step to larger exhibitions. Chamber of Industry Chairman Ahmet Kula, said that the activity has been prepared in a short period of one month, that the participation is satisfactory, that it has been successful, despite some negative expressions. Kula emphasized that they have 22 chamber members that are in the list of top 500 firms. Kula also announced that they are going to open an exhibition place in 2011 in OSB and that the preparation works of this exhibition which will be on a sector basis, are at their final stage. At the promotional stands, set up in a closed area in the Charisma Market, industrial corporations and municipalities have opened stands and exhibited their wealth of agriculture, industry and tourism in city centers and districts. The opening of the exhibition has been colored by folklore dances and there was a mini-fashion show. The Municipality Mayor Ismail OK in his speech, pointed out that Balıkesir has accomplished an important organization. “Today is a holyday, a feast for Balıkesir. With this organization we have brought Balıkesir beyond its borders and the those of our country and in this way we have contributed to the increase of production and welfare in Balıkesir. If God is willing, we will continue this process in the next years so that we can bring Balıkesir to a better well-off, a more beautiful place. Today we have gathered here everyone under the red and white colors. This activity, which is a stage of the 10.10.2010 promotion days, is may be even more meaningful than the others.”

The Izmir International Fair

Yorsan has become the focus of attention of foreign delegations, too. Yorsan, which has been active for more than 50 years in milk and diary products sector, at the 79th Izmir International Fair offered its products to the assessment of the fair participants. The stand has become a focus of attention by participants since the day of its opening and it has been visited intensively by foreign purchase groups, too.
